Our site is located next to the Merthyr Mawr Warren National Nature Reserve, which is home to the highest sand dune in Wales - the Big Dipper. What's more, the sandy soil provides excellent drainage, which means no more muddy puddles - making it perfect for all weather conditions.

Fun fact - the dune system here is like no other in Wales, covering a whopping 840 acres (that's the size of 340 international rugby pitches!). Sand has settled on top of the ancient limestone cliffs, creating a special habitat for insects, fungi, and plants - making it a truly unique and spectacular location.
